Baptism

  • Parents must be registered in a Roman Catholic Church and bring a permission letter from that parish to baptize here.  Visit the rectory to complete the application on Baptism Form three months before the baptism. Please bring the Birth Certificate.

  • Parents and godparents must attend one (1) Pre-Baptismal class (see schedule below).  If you are Baptizing in the English Ritual, you must attend the English Baptismal Class.

  • The date will be scheduled at the office three months from the date of the registration, unless there is availability on an earlier date.

  • The child’s parents must be married by the Catholic Church.  If they are not married by the Catholic Church they must speak to a priest or deacon.

  • When choosing the godparents you must make sure they are practicing Catholics. They must be at least 16 years old and provide a copy of the First Communion and Confirmation Certificate.
